Zohar Fresco
An internationally acclaimed master percussionist and composer celebrated for pioneering a completely new era for the Tof Miriam (frame drum), for which he has developed a unique fingering technique and rhythmical language called Manegina.

Deeply connected to his Turkish roots, Fresco is a descendant of Tamburi Izhak Fresco, a prominent and revered 18th-19th century Turkish composer. He’s been bridging ancient Eastern traditions with the creative freedom of modern jazz and Western Classical music.
Mayu Shviro
A classically trained cellist, Mayu has been learning and teaching the secrets of modal music since the age of 18.
She traveled to learn from masters of Ottoman music in Greece and Azeri music in Azerbaijan, performed and recorded with many ensembles and artists.

Mayu is a known teacher of Middle Eastern music to musicians from all over the world. She has taught in the Labyrinth music seminars in Crete, in Europe and in Israel extensively.Â
Elad Levi
Violinist, a master of Andalusian music, Artistic Director of the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra Ashdod. Head of Andalusian department in Maqamat School of Eastern Music.

Hind Ennaira
A rare female voice mastering the Guembri, originally from Essaouira, the spiritual home of Gnawa. Renowned for her ability to translate the ancient, trance-like power of Gnawa into an accessible, magnetic experience.

Her teaching offers students an authentic and inspiring encounter with the heartbeat of Moroccan heritage, blending technical mastery with profound spiritual expression.
Moshe Zehavi
A guitarist, vocalist, composer, and educator whose work bridges Balkan, Turkish, Middle Eastern, and contemporary world music. The founder of Shishko Disco and Kavana, and was also a member and composer in the international London-based ensemble The Turbans.

Alongside his performing and recording career, he has been teaching for more than a decade, guiding musicians through repertoire, ensemble playing, maqam, rhythm, improvisation, and creative musical expression.
Madhav Haridas
A saxophonist & bansuri player, composer, and educator working at the intersection of Indian classical music, jazz, and world music. After over 15 years in India, immersing himself in the study of Carnatic and Hindustani music, his work today draws on the language of raga, improvisation, and cross-cultural musical dialogue.

Madhav leads workshops and private study programs while developing original music through the Madhav Haridas Quartet, an ensemble exploring contemporary Indo-jazz composition and improvisation.
About Quinta de São Jacinto
A historical working farm and winery, first built in 1799 near the village of Midões - Tabua (Coimbra district), being restored to full production of organic agriculture and as an international retreat center. Visitors can directly experience authentic hospitality, regenerative agriculture, deep nature, wellbeing, creative educational and cultural activities and community life, integrated holistically in a stunningly beautiful rural destination.
The Quinta comprises 40 hectares of agricultural land, a 29-room traditional farm manor with 10 guest rooms, simple dormitory space and camping sites.
With shared indoor and outdoor activity and recreation spaces, a winery, sheep barns and extensive unspoiled wild nature, the Quinta provides an ideal setting for personal retreat and creative education. Our farm kitchen provides home-cooked meals based on its own homegrown organic farm products.
The Quinta contains 2000 sq. m. of production vegetable gardens, 200 olive trees and 2 hectares of premium grapes in the Dão wine region DOC.
The property is blessed with abundant clean water sources including 1 km. of the Rio Cavalo riverside, numerous water springs and natural pools.
